Darnell Dugger is a first-generation sheep farmer based in Griffin, Georgia. With no agricultural
background, Darnell began his journey into sheep production by learning from other producers,
taking practical steps, and focusing on steady growth. What started as an idea has developed
into a working flock and a sustainable path in agriculture.

Darnell’s home ranch sits on 15 acres, and he currently raises 100 head of sheep across 200
acres of solar fields. His long-term goal is to expand his operation to 1,000 head. Along the way,
he has faced the challenges that come with starting from scratch, including learning the basics
of animal care, land management, and flock development.

Through persistence and a willingness to learn, Darnell has built an operation grounded in
