Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: April 16, 2026
The American Sheep Industry Association (“ASI”) and the American Lamb Board (“ALB”) are committed to ensuring that Sheep IQ is accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. We strive to provide a website experience that conforms to recognized accessibility standards and continues to improve over time.
Our Commitment
We aim to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those with visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, and other impairments.
Our ongoing accessibility efforts include:
- Use of semantic HTML and structured page layouts to support screen readers and assistive technologies
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background elements
- Descriptive alternative text for images and non-text content
- Keyboard navigability throughout the site
- Captions or transcripts for video and audio content where applicable
- Avoidance of content that may cause seizures or physical reactions
Known Limitations
While we work diligently to maintain accessibility across the site, some content — including third-party materials, embedded resources, or legacy documents — may not fully meet accessibility standards. We are actively working to identify and remediate such content.
If you encounter a barrier while using Sheep IQ, we encourage you to contact us so we may address it promptly.
Feedback and Assistance
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you experience difficulty accessing any content or functionality on Sheep IQ, or if you require information in an alternative format, please contact us using the information below. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your needs and respond in a timely manner.
Third-Party Content
Sheep IQ may contain links to or content from third-party websites and platforms. ASI and ALB do not control the accessibility practices of third-party providers and are not responsible for their compliance with accessibility standards.
Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. We conduct periodic reviews of our site and update our practices in accordance with evolving standards and user feedback. This statement will be updated as improvements are made.
